Core Values
The founding members of the charter agree on six core elements that form the foundation of EP: rigorous and engaging individualized instruction, small learning community, student leadership development, results-oriented programming, strong parent involvement, and a strong emphasis on math and science development.
The program will focus on individualized instruction and will allow for flexible groupings that will assist teachers and students in differentiation, mastery, and acceleration of the curriculum. EP will keep class sizes low to allow for greater success. EP recognizes that students need to be prepared and equipped with skills and qualities beyond academics; therefore we will integrate leadership training into the curriculum to emphasize public service and character education. The students will design and implement several community service projects throughout each school year. EP shall comply with all laws in serving its English learners, special education and disabled pupils.
